Take complete ownership of Data Custodian role. Understand product and marketing goals and objectives and translate these into reports. Write code (queries/procedures) in SQL that is both functional and elegant, following appropriate design patterns. Debug, monitor and troubleshoot BI solutions. Keep a check on Data Integrity and Consistency. Assess internal and external databases to identify data sources. Continuously apply automation techniques to improve Report Turnaround Times. Mandatory Requirements: Expert knowledge of SQL. In-depth knowledge of Datawarehousing and Datamarts concepts. Hands-on experience on ETL. Good understanding of Big Data related technologies like HDFS, Hadoop,HIVE etc. Familiarity with Linux and at least one of scripting languages Shell,Perl or python. Excellent Analytical Knowledge. A keen eye for detail. Smart, motivated and team oriented. Excellent technical communication skills in both written and spoken English.
